The Session.

Recently this sweet couple moved back to Charlotte after spending four years in Chicago. They recently purchased their Pike Properties home and I was so excited to get in their and photograph them and their adorable dogs enjoying their new place. There is nothing like your first Christmas in a new home. Their tree was from the farm tree lot up the block and smelled so good. The dogs were eager to be in every shot, lol.

Their house is stunning, filled with beautiful artwork, plants, and is filled with light. Their breakfast nook is the sweetest little spot that even the dogs love. It is framed above the opening with natural wood, I mean, the little details in the home is absolutely unique and filled with charm. The backyard is so comfy with a fireplace on their back patio to help warm you up on these chilly southern evenings.

Favorite Photo.

As always, I ask my client to tell me about their favorite photo. The first six years of my husband and I living together and our married life was built around our dog, Dexter. He was our first baby and we cherished every bit of time we had with him. I'm so thankful for all of the images we have of him and with him to hold onto those precious memories of him. I loved being able to capture those memories for this sweet family.

K: "Any photo of our dogs :)"

This wasn't the first lovely Pike Properties home that I have had the opportunity to photograph, you see another HERE.
