Is there anything better than homemade pancakes made by your kiddo? I think not! That was exactly what happened when I visited the Spooner family in their Charlotte home for their in-home family photos.
This day spent with the Spooners was so much fun, I mean, any session that starts with pancakes, includes lollipops, a ukulele, and is filled with lots of laughter & cuddles is my kind of session! Amy and Ryan have an amazing love story, and I loved listening to them tell it to me. Amy also has an incredible knack for making a house a home. She decorates with new and antique furniture, using lots of natural textures and items, it is absolutely inviting and lovely. The kiddos are so cute. Amy thought their youngest wouldn't want to do much with the camera being around, but he was all smiles, and it didn't hurt that he could simply run upstairs and take a video game break.
Really, the best part of a photo session at home is that everyone gets a chance to shine and to take a break. There is nothing better than the comfort of your own home where everyone feels the most comfortable. That is where the genuine smiles are made and the real moments are captured.
If you see these photos and watched this video and thought for one second... I should do that, Let's Chat! I promise, you will not regret capturing those memories and having them to always look back on. Don't just take it from me, take it from Amy too: "Hire Sabrina! She's amazing and her photos capture the beautiful every day moments that we look back on and miss dearly. My favorite part of the session was the ease of it. My entire family felt so at home because, well, we were! But, Sabrina also made sure to make us all feel comfortable in catching those every day moments."
Another huge compliment is when DAD even has something fun to say about our session, here's Ryan's input: "You rock! Can we do another session?" Haha! Makes me so happy! The Spooners made this Charlotte family photographer feel so warm, invited, and happy too!
