Hey there, Mama.
Let’s talk about maternity photos—because they should feel like you. Not a magazine version of you. Not Pinterest-perfect. But the you who’s walking through these beautifully ordinary days, growing a tiny human and dreaming of what’s to come.
Around here, I believe your session should feel like a little slice of your real life. Not stiff poses or forced smiles—but belly laughs, dog leashes tangled in your hands, and the same cozy porch swing you’ll soon rock your baby to sleep on.

📍 Start Right Where You Are
Some of my favorite maternity sessions happen right in your own front yard. Seriously. There’s magic in standing on the porch of the home where you’re prepping the nursery. In laying on a blanket in your backyard where you’ll soon watch your little one take their first wobbly steps. It’s personal. It’s familiar. It’s yours.
🐾 Include the Dogs (They Were Your First Babies, After All)
Let’s leash up the pups and go for a walk. We’ll stroll through your neighborhood, where you know every tree and every bump in the sidewalk. These are the places where life happens, where you’ll teach your little one to ride a bike or chase bubbles. And those dogs? They’ve been with you for it all—they deserve a little camera time too.
🌳 Visit Your Future Playground
There’s something special about walking through your local park, hand on your bump, imagining coming back soon with a stroller and a diaper bag. Maybe it’s the park where you’ll have your first “mom friend” meet-up or where you’ll celebrate a first birthday picnic. We’ll grab a few shots on the benches or under the trees—nothing fancy, just honest and warm.
😂 Laugh, Don’t Pose
If you’ve ever said, “I’m awkward in front of the camera,” you are my kind of person. That’s why we don’t pose—we play. I’ll guide you gently, but most of the time we’ll be chatting, laughing, walking, and letting the camera capture what’s real. A wind-blown laugh or a quiet hand on your belly will always mean more than a stiff smile.
❤️ These Photos Are For You
These images aren’t just to share on social or send out in baby announcements. They’re for you. For the quiet moments years from now when you want to remember what it felt like to be waiting. To be becoming.

So if you’re dreaming of maternity photos that feel more like a Sunday stroll than a magazine shoot, let’s make it happen. Come as you are—messy bun, muddy dogs, giggles and all.
