The "W" Family | Outdoor Family Session

In the heat of July, my friend Martha and her family met me at Wise Acres Organic Farm in Indian Trail, NC for an outdoor family session in a field of sunflowers and some romping around the farm. It was gorgeous out there, a little hot, but absolutely worth it. The sky was an absolutely stunning blue with clouds that day, the perfect Carolina morning. I love photographing the "W" family any chance I can get, and this time it was extra special because it was for their baby announcement for baby number 3, their little tie-breaker {spoiler alert: it's a boy}!
Their oldest kiddo just turned 7! I've had the chance to watch her grow up since she was 9 months old when I met her and her mama at a library reading group for babies. I can't believe she is now going to be a big sister again, all those babies! We took some time to grab some "big girl" photos to commemorate her turning 7! It was also important for mom to have some special photos with just her girl, to take advantage of this time they have with each other, a mama and her only girl, what a bond! Dad also had his special moments with his little guy at our favorite farm.
"W" family... you know I am so grateful for the opportunity for us to run around together at Wise Acres and capture these amazing memories together. I'm so proud of the family you've become and I'm even more grateful for our friendship over these past seven years. I can't wait to capture your newest memories when baby arrives! <3
