"P" Turns 2 | Wise Acres Organic Farm

Oh goodness! It doesn't get any cuter that a two year old running around a farm, pointing out all of the bugs, running to any tractor he sees, and longing to pet the goats and pigs. The heat, the sun, and the humidity could not slow this little man down, he was so happy to be outside and exploring. Honestly, I can not believe "P" just turned two and that we did his birthday portraits already. It feels like yesterday when I was photographing his family's baby announcement that they were pregnant with him. Now he's a force to be reckon with, a two year old who can do the alphabet and make the sounds of each letter {not even kidding!}.
We took P's portraits at Wise Acres. If you have never been to this organic farm in the small town of Indian Trail, you are missing out. Obviously with covid things are a little different and you have to make reservations when they are in season, but if you are lucky enough to snag a spot, it is the best place to go. In the spring they have organic strawberries {they may be one of the only organic strawberry farms left in North Carolina}. In the summer they had their sunflower fields FILLED with flowers and their greenhouse was absolutely stunning. And in the fall they obviously have pumpkins. In the spring and fall there is a wood fired oven going where they sell the yummiest pizzas. They often have local honey, elder berry syrup, and other goods for sale. Organic slushees is one of my kiddo's favorite treats! Okay, obviously I can go on and on because there is also an awesome play area, but you should check out their website if you are local to the Charlotte area.
Back to "P". This little adventurer is a sweetheart and I am so fortunate to be able to have photographed him for his second birthday at the farm. He kept me on my toes while I chased him around, but it was all worth it. Happy Birthday P!
