Fast Family Mini Sessions | Tips To Help You
Your session will be 10 quick and fun minutes. I will help guide you along our very fast journey, but here are some tips that may help. (I promise Dad, I will make this as easy as can be.. :) )
Get a good sleep the night before...
I know this isn't an easy one all the time, but the more relaxed you all are for your session the more you will look relaxed in your photos. Also, drink plenty of water the day before.
What to wear...
I suggest wearing what you feel most comfortable in. If you're comfortable, you will look and feel your best! If you're really brave, let your kiddos pick out their own clothes, lol!
How to pose...
These are fast sessions, I will get you together as a family, get the smiling at the camera shot first. Then I'll grab some individual photos of kiddos and then parents together. We will get some giggles, so get ready for some quick cuddles and tickles!
try not to bribe kiddos while you are at the session...
If you plan on promising the kiddos candy or ice cream for good behavior, do it right before your session. Children are wild and free and that's why we love them! Some ages don't smile, some see me and get shy, that is okay! Embrace the chaos and who you all are in this moment, the less stress, the better the memory!
prepare beforehand...
If you're putting the kiddos in a new outfit, have them try it on beforehand, let them know that Sabrina will be taking their photos and it will be fun! Show them this page at the photo of me below, this way they will have an idea of who they will be with.
Relax...
I know, easier said than done, but I'm not here to judge you, so rest assured I will do my best to get your best for you! Family photos come with a stigma of stress and the more you allow you and your kids to just have fun in the moment, the more memorable the photo and your time together will be. Photos shouldn't be stiff, they should be filled with connection and fun.
