Branding Photography at Little Villa Charlotte for Anna Mesen Photography
I met Anna Mesen of Anna Mesen Photography online last year. We are in a photographer's Facebook group, she recognized my name and pointed out that we follow each other online, and that we both just so happened to live in the same area! Match made! We went from online supporters, to online friends, to real life supportive friends. We meet up for coffee and talk "real" life and also work life. You'd think we wouldn't want to talk strategy and share ideas, considering how similar we are in our work, but community over competition is truly worth every conversation we have. I drive by hundreds of houses, knowing that there are stories to be told of every family inside those homes, I want my friend to be successful and help me tell those family stories!
Now, back to branding, Anna needed updated headshots and branding images for her social media and new website she launched last year. I knew the perfect location for her branding images would be at Little Villa Charlotte. Little Villa is the most creative and brightly lit studio to use for branding images. It offers a kitchen, living room spaces, creative dining room/office table, coffee shop looking spot, and a whole outdoor area around it with different seating. We were able to utilize all of the spaces for Anna's photos.

Bright natural light
The dining space may be my favorite location in the studio. It offers so much bright natural light. Not only does Anna look gorgeous, but it really shows off all the colors and textures. I love to imagine an artist in this space!

We made sure to take photos from different angles and from different views to offer unique looks.
